The party set their sights on the tumbled-down remnants of the temple previously discovered by Ptormed & Co. Their journey led them across miles of unbroken savanna, a vast expanse that seemed to stretch endlessly before them. However, as they pressed forward, the landscape began to shift, transforming into challenging dunes that rose and fell like the waves of a turbulent sea from the ancient past.

As they navigated the shifting sands, the volcanic mountains housing the temple ruins loomed tantalizingly close yet ultimately out of reach. Despite their determination, the unforgiving terrain posed insurmountable challenges, forcing them to acknowledge that reaching the temple would have to wait for another day.

With the temple remaining a distant dream, the party recognized the necessity of returning to Emtor. As the day unfolded, they encountered no significant events or obstacles beyond the demanding trek through the varied and unpredictable terrains of Barsoom. As night fell, the party set up camp, reflecting on their journey and preparing to make their way back to Emtor, carrying with them the memories and experiences of their expedition amidst the unforgiving landscapes of this storied world.
